Marine operators concerned with quality control and optimization of oil purification choose the EESIFLO EASZ-1 mini online water in oil monitor to measure real time water content of oil. High speed purification systems need a monitor that works at ‘high speed”. The EASZ-1 response time is 1 second. Nothing is missed in the oil lines. The mini EASZ-1 is a standard ship item that can easily be retrofitted to any existing oil purifier and instantaneously and continuously measures either trace amounts of water that exist in normal conditions but will also immediately pick up an increase in water content.
In some cases ,operators using common types of high speed oil centrifuges concerned with the automatic drain of water or desludge cycles where water is being discharged from the high speed purifier and frequently contaminating the oil lines for several minutes have no need to be concerned about false alarms. The EASZ-1 DACS system shipped with the EASZ-1 monitors either using a PLC based or simple adjustable relay timers wil ensure that there are no spurious alarms due to common contamination of the oil lines during desludge cycling |

Of course the EASZ-1 water in oil monitor is not limited simply to monitoring water content on the inlets or outlets of high speed centrifuges but can also be installed to monitor the current water content in any oil line for whatever purpose whether it be quality control, saving energy or safety/reliability concerns. The EASZ-1 will work with any type of oil or fuel. The standard units are built in 316 stainless steel and rated at IP66. If the installation area is a potentially explosive atmosphere, the intrinsically safe version can be used even in Zone 0 /Class 1 Div 1 environments.
The EASZ-1 works on the principal of measuring the dielectric permittivity of the fluid being measured. Many years of design and engineering have gone into making the EASZ-1 compact enough and easy enough to retrofit into existing marine and also industrial applications onshore. It is a two wire loop powered device saving wiring time and costs for the operators. The standard industrial versions are normally immediate ship or quick ship items and field assistance in available in several ports of the world.
